We at ALTEN South are seeking a mechanical designer looking for new job opportunities in the Lund area!

YOUR TASKS

As a mechanical designer in the team, your focus will be on design, virtual verification, and technical documentation. You will also contribute to physical verification, prototyping, and administrative tasks. Examples of tasks include:

• Create 3D designs in CAD.
• Develop, update, and release technical documentation.
• Prototyping (3D printing, ordering, modifying parts).
• Interact with suppliers for purchased and designed parts.
• Perform basic virtual verification activities.
• Define and conduct physical tests.
• Contribute to the team's planning and communication.
• Perform technical root cause analyses and risk assessments.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

• Has a bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• Has 1-5 years of experience as a mechanical designer.
• Speaks and writes fluent Swedish and English.

PREFERRED

• Experience with machine systems with moving parts.
• Experience with PTC Creo.
• Knowledge of PTC Suite for virtual verification.
